2:04 pm	Allura at Esplanade Power House Went for Allura gig at Esplanade Power House yesterday night.Stayed for the first set which started at 8.45PM and ended around 9.30PM,I think.Didn't stayed for the second set.The first set was great,especially Liberty with wings Pheromones,Limbo and their cover of U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday.Inch pointed the mic at me when Allura were playing Sunday Bloody Sunday and some guy shouted,'Matt is hot!'.Haha,that guy's funny lah. 9:45 pm	Pennisula,Chinatown with Ka Ching and Shirley Checked my Poly semester 1 results online.My GPA was 2.269 which I find it very lousy.My grades were,B for CODID,VASTR,COMM Modules,C for DRWP1,COLOR,Studio Project Modules,D+ for DESFD Modules.Very lousy... Went to Pennisula and Chinatown with Shirley and Ka Ching.Went Pennisula and got forced by the aunty in a shop to ask em buy the leather belt,so no choice I bought a Rolling Stones Belt that cost $20.Went around Pennisula with them and they were both high over some ESP Guitar at Davis Guitar and they both bought a ESP pick used by Mana. Went to Funan to have lunch and later to Chinatown.The girls seriously don't know where the cloth shop is then I lead them to the place,I look like their tour guides.The girls bought their textiles and later headed yo some jam studio in Chinatown to ask about the jamming rates and went to Snakeweed Studio but it was closed.So took MRT back home while Shirley went back to school. 8:18 pm	DMD0707 Chalet/Alvin's Birthday Went to class chalet and Alvin's birthday celebration yesterday at Downtown East.Met up with Alvin,Nicholas,Aaron,Yong Leong and Raziff at Pasir Ris MRT.I came late,stupid bus I missed,delayed my time to Bishan MRT.They bought 4packet sausage and a squid because Daryl sms me that morning that they not enough squid and sausage.Upon arrival,they already bought the stuffs,so just followed them to the bus interchaneg and took the feeder bus to Downtown East.Reached Downtown East Chalet already but can't find their unit but we found it and the people in there didn't answer our door,so me and Raziff decided to do the MTV Room Raiders style.LOL.They opened the door and Dickson,Ka Ching,Brian,Grace,Gina,Wan Teng,Kaiting and Daryl were in there.Raziff set up his Gamecube while I went to play Daryl's electric guitar,I still a noob at guitar,tried playing Green Day Holiday solo,Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here and Slash Godfather Theme.Waited for Ellery and Daniel to come before we start the birthday surprise.Daniel came with his XBOX 360.So everyone came except Hua Feng,he said he might be late.So we cut the cake and eat the cake but Raziff who was fasting had been given the cake.So Raziff ate a bite and he goes,'Oh Fuck!I'm fasting.'Later,I started playing Mario Kart on Raziff's Gamecube,it was so fun.Later played Super Smah Brothers Meelee.So went to walk around Downtown East with Alvin and following Raziff out as he needs to go home to have dinner with his parents at the same time to break fast.Then later head back to chalet and fooled around,helped out in a bit of the bbq.The bbq was really nice,I like the potatoes,corn and kebabs and also the sausages,went to meet Meng Yim and Gilbert at the entrance to bring them in the chalet.They were also invited then later they called Faith to come.Raziff came with his girlfriend.Was inside the chalet playing the guitar with Daryl and Alvin beside us listening to us,me and Alvin used Grace's laptop to search for guitar tabs as we wanted Daryl to play some good songs for us while the rest were either outside at the bbq or inside playing cards,Mahjong or XBOX360,Halo and that Star Wars Jedi Acadamy.I decided to leave with Nicholas,Aaron,Gilbert,Faith and Meng Yim but Gilbert wanted to see how good Daryl's guitaring skills.So Aaron and Nicholas left.So I waited and later left with the 3OGLs. Left for the MRT with Gilbert and Meng Yim as Faith lives nearby.Talk cock in the MRT,so fun talking to the 2OGLs,so friend and very much like older siblings. 1:08 pm	Bras Basah,Funan and Pennisula Went to Bras Basah yesterday with Wei Zong,went there to sell my books,14 English novels and 3 O levels assessment notes.It was sold to that seecondhand book store at 17books for $9,so little,I think I'm scamed,I could get more than that on ebay,maybe $15?Went to the guitar shop there and see some guitar and the 3in1 tuner cost $30.Went off to Funan as Wei Zong needs to deposit cash and get his new debit card from POSB.Went to Pennisula after that.Pennisula,went to guitar shops and some clothing shops.Look for bands tshirts and studded cuffs and belts.Went pass several hobby comic toy store,tempted to buy the Star Wars and Marvel comic figures but didn't buy in the end.Came acros this magic shop,and Wei Zong got tempted with the magic gimmicks,that card trick and the soft can trick,he bought both of them and kept reading and he didn't understand certain part,so he went back and ask the shop owner.The owner showed him that video and taught him how to do it,all the magic tricks stuff were really expensive. -Slammed Guitar- (Comment on this)

10:07 pm	Studio Project/Semester 1 Ends/Teacher's Day Visit Hiatus for blog lifted. My Studio Project Assessment was yesterday,presented my Stuio Project A4 Coloured Illustration,Colour Roughs,Sketch Book and Portfolio.Mr Yu Jiunn Xiang and Ms Lina Tay was the tutors who took us for assessment.The tutors liked my Final A4 illustration and colour roughs,but they said my A4 final value drawing in the sketchbook needs to be done properly.As for portfolio,2 pieces on the comic effects and comic speech were not a portfolio piece but more towards a research and concept drawing and a cartoon drawing of Glam rocker was actually copying the cartoon My Dad The Rockstar that Gene Simmons,but actually the drawing is similar but I changed the face make up to a Paul Stanley's Starchild makeup but Mr Jiunn still says it is still copying and not so personalised.Well,overall,my Studio porject was ok.So after that,went to eat lunch with Raziff and head home.So Studio Project Assessment marks the end of Semester 1 in NYP and start of holidays,1month and 2weeks. Went back BPS today in the morning with Lionel to visit teachers,since it was teacher's celebration.Meet up with Christie,Wai Zhan,Yi Hao who are still schooling in BPS.Meet my teachers and did a bit of catching up with my old classmates and friends who had graduated and come back to visit.Zul,is still the same,tall and as big size as a giant.Went back home after that and went for movie with my parents,watched 881,some stupid chinese and hokkien Getai movie.Bought a Denim jacket and a pair of skinny jeans from Levis Signature and a black and white strip polo tshirt from Giodarno. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: accomplished (Comment on this)

9:27 pm	Daryl and Shirley's Birthday Celebration/NYP Bandzout/Hiatus Celebrated Daryl and Shirley's birthday on tuesday during the 4hrs break at AMK HUB Fish & Co.Went there with Daryl,Nicholas,Yong Leong,Alvin,Aaron,Daniel,Brian,Shirley,Wan Teng,Gina,Kaiting,Grace and Ka Ching. Went to school in the evening for Bandzout competition and met Chad,a new friend I met on friendster studying at NYP SIDM as school as me but he's in Motion Graphics and Broadcast Design.I cae late and missed several contestant bands and Iron Buddha one of the guest bands that played bu just in time to catch 2 other guest bands set,Bad Obsession's Acoustic set and Fire Brands set.Bad Obsession was good acoustic set played by Evigan,Gordon and Dong and first time in their performance.Fire Brands played closing before the break and reslutsand they sounded very Linkin Park,I have got free CD given out by Fire Brands,the songs are really nice.Went back with Chad during the break ad didn'tcatch the results but one contestant band that played really funny was PE Lesson Heros,they were dressed in PE Attire and played Blink 182 Dammit. 8:14 pm	Bored and busy School's bored and busy.Yesterday drawing lesson was the last lesson with Mr Brian.Mr Brian is going back to Sheraton College in Canada to teach but he will be coming back to NYP next year.Well Mr Brian's drawing lesson was the best module tutorial I had ever attended.My drawing had improved,the assignment2 for drawing I gt C+/B grade,I was so happy because I could draw still life objects,perspective and also having a good teacher like Mr Brian who is so encouraging,supportive and Jon Bon Jovi looking.All the best Mr Brian,see you next year if you do get a chance to teach us,bring us some Canadian Maple Syrup. Hated design fundamentals because it is some fucked up and irrelevant module which wasted my time doing the assignments and homeworks and getting either a low grade as low as D or F or maybe asking me to redo,I hated it like fuck.So far for my design fundamentals homework I had got only B- for the Week 3 class exercise and B for the week 8 class exercise. As for colour theory,I got C+ for both Assignment 1 and 2. For visual audio,I got B+ for the assignment 1 and I just submitted assignment 2 on monday. Concept development ideas,I got B for my Idea presentation.I love concept development becasue I could do what I like in my idea book and do presentation of my ideas.Concept development was my loved module. 9:58 pm	Thunder Struck! Well on 23 June.I went to Rock For Wayne. The gig was really loud,explosive,rocking and also Thunder Struck.Yeah,Thunder will always be remembered.Went to the Far East Square Pavillion really and took photos,I also took photos with Lerping(Levan from ex-Ronin and Astroninja Lead vocals),Amanda(Electrico and Astroninja Keyboardist),Dong(Bad Obsession and Astroninja Lead Guitarist).I see lots of band members and crew were smoking outisde the pavillion and busy working and preparing for the gig,I saw Joe Suicide(Bad Obsession and Astroninja drummer)smoking and giving briefing to the crew members.William,Desmond and few other musicians outside chatting and taking cigarette breaks for some.Saw Sabrina,she was also there with the RFW crew,said Hi to her.Waitied outisde and walked around amd had dinner at the nearby food court before the gig started. The Fire Fight kickstarted the gig followed by Humpback Oak and later The Great Spy Experiment.Fire Fight playing was really nice,I like their guitar playing but as for Humpback Oak,it's rather not really nice as the songs were rather slow and Great Spy Experiment songs were really nice and can dance along to. Later it was A Vacant Affair's slot.A Vacant Affair heated up the whole gig seriously,for all I can say,there was a huge massive moshpit with wall of death,hardcore dancing,head banging and lots of bodysurfings,it was really the best moshpit and audiences for the gig. A Vacant Affair sure do have that Hardcore vibes and the crowd sure do had fun moshing violently to their Hardcore songs.I love A Vacant Affair's Crest Fallen,Morning After that was Force Vomit who played and the band came as a 3 piece as the guitarist needs to go to the hospital as his child was admitted to the hospital,the band played several songs and a Jimmi Hendrix's song called Fire. Then later it was West Grand Boulevard,West Grand Boulevard's performance was also great as great as A Vacant Affair's because many audiences started to mosh and bodysurf and that band really heated up the night though. After West Grand Boulevard's slot,it was Caracal.Caracal performance was also Rocking and Hardcore with lots of moshing. It was Electrico's slot,and Electrico was really Rock & Roll,I could say.And several audiences shouted 'Amanda Ling is hot','Amanda,I love you!' and stuffs like that.Well,Amanda Ling was sure a hottie Rock Chick.Lots of people in the mosh pit started bouncing up and down and dancing to Electrico's songs,I love Studman by them.That song was so Rock & Roll. The closing performance was by Astroninja-All Stars.A 10 members band formed by Levan Wee of ex-Ronin as the lead vocals and many other star musicians like Amanda,Dong,Roxxi,Zaki,Syed,Desmond,Inch.They played Phantom Of The Opera and it was really powerful and Rocking with Inch screaming in her high pitched vocals.After that song was Thunder,a tribute song to Wayne and that song was really nice and slow and really memorable song dedicated to Wayne.I'm Not Okay by My Chemical Romance was also played and it made me sing along and headbang to that song.Last song was Thunderstruck by ACDC,it was really a good Rock & Roll song to sing to Wayne.Lots of moshing,bodysurfing and headbanging when this pro all stars band played.One thing which I loved about the Astros is that their outfits were really nice.Lerping,Zaki,Desmond were dressed like phantoms,Lerping wore the phantom suit with cape which I liked most,Desmond wore a hoodie(if I'm not wrong)and ULTRAMAN mask which made him looked like some small kid playing bass and Zaki wore a Top Hat and a purple suit which made him lloked like some opera actor during the victorian times.Dong,Inch,Amanda were dressed in Japanese outfits,Dong wore a samurai costume(haha,way to go Samurai X!),Amanda wore a Japanese traditional outfit with a big red ribbon on her back,she reminds me of Japanese toy dolls and Inch wore a traditional Japanese outfit which she reminded me of some Japanese housewife.Syed,Joe and Roxxi wore heavy metal and headbanger's era clothing,leather pants,metal bands shirts or black shirts and boots. I bought a Rock For Wayne compilation cd and a RFW badge,took lots of photos and videos,wnet to the gig with Wei Zong and mmeeting up at the gig with Christie,Shawn,Ri Wei,Han Liang and their friend.Christie,Shawn and his friends went to mosh and I caught them on video.Jimmy,a friend of mine started the wall of death when A Vacant Affair played.Lerping was swearing on stage again,that's his personality and we are used to it.I didn't mosh though as I was taking photos upstairs. I really enjoyed this night and I reached home rather late and took the last train home. Will uploads the photos soon online.DVD for Rock For Wayne is going to be released soon and I'm buying it. 9:42 am	Portfolio Yesterday,did 1 piece of drawing for my portfolio.I drew some special effects in a comic strip,mainly gunshots,energy blasts,glowing hands of a superhero and fire produced by a superhero.I also did the DESFD Class Exercise,that texture homework,I just pasted some of the textures already but some is too small not really 5cm by 5cm,so will be getting these textures again in school next week. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: artistic (Comment on this)

8:06 pm	Final Cut Pro Went back to school this morning to do up the Visual Audio Storytelling assignment 2,that one which we need to do video editing using Final Cut Pro,a Apple MAC Software which I don't have.Did that homework with Brian,Shirley,Gina,Kaiting and Wan Teng.Brian brought his hamster to school,it was fury and cute.Did the rough cut of the video but the fine cut half done already.Will be doing it next week in school with Alvin,Nicholas,Hua Feng and Aaron as they are goin school next week to finish up that assignment too.I need to go now,tickets to Rock For Wayne still not sold yet,but a few of them will be reserved for Mustaffa and his friends. -Slammed Guitar- (Comment on this)

10:14 am	Holiday Well,here comes my 2weeks holidays in Poly.Many things happened these days and as you can see,this blog is on hiatus and I didn't had the time to update it. Firstly,school was fine.Enjoyed going out to the library to do homework with Alvin,Brian,Daryl,Grace and Wan Teng.At times did homework with Daniel,Yong Leong,Alvin,Aaron,Hua Feng and Nicholas.During Vesak day,went to Daryl's house with Brian,ALvin,Grace and Wan Teng to do the Design Fundamentals collage Assignment.At times during Friday,went to Town with Brian,Wan Teng and Kai Ting to play pool.Indeed going out with my class is actually very enjoyable,get to know each other better. Secondly,heard the news of Wayne Thunder's death,which saddens evry local music fan.Let's hope his soul rest in peace.Collcected tockets from Sabrina to sell for this upcoming gig called Rock For Wayne. 10:50 pm	Possible Hiatus Pardon the shortening and the lessening of post in this blog due to my busy school work and assignments.I have got lots of homeworks and assignments lately even though I had just started polytechnic.Some of my previuos submitted assignments and homeworks had to be redone which is also another load of work for me as well and they add up to the piling workload.I maybe declaring this blog on a hiatus soon in the next few days if possible depending on the amount of time avaliability.The hiatus of this blog will only be lifted when it is during the mid-term holidays sometime in June.Just stay tuned for any further notice.As you people were wondering how well am I getting along with my new polytechnic classmates,all I can say is that I am getting along well with them happily and we had lots of fun time together,especially going out to town in the previous Tuesdays 4hours lunch break,going to Ang Mo Kio Hub last Monday lunch break.Having a fun and nice time chatting and talking cock with the guys,Yong Leong,Alvin,Brian,Daniel,Hua Feng and at times Daryl,Aaron,Nicholas,Raziff and Ellery.The girls in my class were also friendly and sociable,well going.Group outing with this class is always the best.By the way,a new blog using blogspot is set up by me to do my Concept Development Ideas Assignment. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: tired (Comment on this)

11:27 pm	SHIT Today school was alright but got lots of things to do.Morning was Drawing Module tutorial,lost my way with Ellery,Brian,Alvin,Yong Leong and Hua Feng while going to our Drawing Studio which was located at the School Of Engineering Block.Drawing was fun today as we did warm up drawings,drawing circles,curves,lines.Afternoon,lunch break was long from 1pm to 5pm as Design Fundamentals Modules tutorials were cancelled.Collected our student card with lanyard and so went to Macdonald in school to have lunch,bloody hell spend my fucking money of piece of small shit,a Filet O Fish meal cost $4.30 with the bloody burger shrinking size,it was smaller than the last time Filet O Fish.What the fuck,just spending $4.30 on this small piece of shit is not worth it,fucking chee bai worst financial investment of the year.I swear never to eat MacDonalds again,bloody hell.So after our lunch,Daryl,Yong Leong,Alvin,Brian and Ellery went to computer labs to check our school email and reference drives for lecture and tutorial notes.At the same time,we were chatting on msn in the school computer with the girls in my class who were at some other places using their laptops.Daryl was such a good artist on msn,he could draw many pictures on msn chat using the handwriting.Raziff came into the lab with his stead and a girl and he introduced us to his girl friend and the girl and later spend a while talking to us and left the lab.After that was Visual Audio Storytelling lecture.Today indeed was hell lots of homework given,checked the lecture and tutorial notes shows that there were homeworks for drawing,concept development ideas,visual audio story telling and lots of materials to buy for colour theory,drawing and design fundamentals.This weekend is bloody filled with doing shit from school,so won't be free. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: annoyed (2 Comments |Comment on this)

9:56 pm	Class Lunch Outing Today,had lectures the whole day.First was Design Fundamentals lecture which was from 11.10am to 12.00pm,it was boring as the lecturer was speaking in a monotonous way,which could make you sleep. After that was lunch break till 4pm which is the next lecture of the day.In between,went to United Square with the class for lunch since the lunch break was 4hours.Gina and the girls wanted to get free ice cream from Ben & Jerry as today they will be giving out free ice cream in the afternoon.Me,Alvin,Brian,Daryl and Aaron did not take the ice cream and we had our lunch at Food Junction while the girls had their lunch at Pizza Hut.After our lunch,we went to Challenger a computer shop while the girls went to queue up for their free ice cream.Brian bought a logitech speaker from the Challenger shop.Me,Aaron and Alvin went to Toys R Us to burn off time while Daryl was at Challenger with Brian.Brian bought his speaker and in the meantime while waiting for the girls,we went up to the 4th floor and slack,sit on the chairs and sleep,stone,listen mp3 and waste time.The girlas called us and we followed them back to school which was only 3pm.Went to the library to sleep for a while and recharge our energy before the next lecture at 4pm. Lecture at 4pm was Concept Development Ideas,the lecturer was cool,humorous and creative.While he was conducting his lecture showing his beautiful pictures on the slides,the projector broke down.Bad luck today,why always got good stuff to enjoy will have bad luck come disturb.After the lecture on Concept Development Idea lecture was Colour Theory lecture,the lecturer was kind,detailed and interesting but the whole session was boring as the bloody projector broke down.If the projector didn't break down,the whole lecture would not be so boring.Colour Theory ended at 6pm and headed home after that.Tomorrow no school,good day to rest. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: tired (Comment on this)

9:25 pm	First Day Of School Today was my first day of schooling at NYP.Was supposed to go to sch at 9am for my Visual Audio Storytelling Tutorial but tutorial for that module was cancelled in the first week.So went to school at 12.30pm for the 2pm Communication Skills tutorial.Meet Alvin and Brian at the Yio Chu Kang MRT station to go to school.Met the rest of the class in the library and we headed to buy our Communication skills textbook from the photocopying shop and had lunch with the class.After lunch,went to communication skills module tutorial,the teacher called Melvin Chew was rather alright in his teaching and he was a little funny.After that tutorial ended at 4pm,was supposed to have tutorial for Colour module at 4.10pm but was cancelled in the first week.So went to see Laptop in the school atrium with Alvin,Hua Feng and Brian before heading home.All these cancellation of tutorials was told last minute,in the morning when Alvin actually called the school to reclarify again.Tomorrow lecture the whole day from 11.10am to 12pm,and 4.10pm to 6.00pm.Lectures on Design Fundamentals,Concept Development and Colour Theory.A long lunch break from 12pm to 4pm.Wednesday,there is no school.Thursday,tutorial the whole day from 10.10am to 5pm and lecture from 5.10pm to 6pm,tutorial on Drawing and Design Fundamentals and lecture on Visual Audiostory telling.Friday,lecture on drawing from 9am to 9.50am,was supposed to have tutorial for Concept development at 10.10am to 12pm but was cancelled.This week is so slack,the first week of school and yet so slack with so many tutorials cancelled. -Slammed Guitar- Current Mood: happy (Comment on this)

3:30 pm	Art Materials And Guitar Casing Went to Art Freind at Bras Basah yesterday and bought my art materials for my school but got 2 items were out of stock.They were Rotring eraser pencil B30 and Derwent drawing pencil Ivory black,spent a total of $44.85.Walked around Bras Basah complex and found 2 guitar shops,went to Ranking Music and Sports shop to buy my guitar casing which cost $18 since my acoustic guitar had no casing.There were a few good guitars on sales and I wanted to buy guitar picks but later didn't buy. -Slammed Guitar- (Comment on this)

9:41 am	Art Friend I would be going down to Art Freind book store at Bras Basah Complex,later in the afternoon to buy the art materials that is going to be needed for my course.Around 10 items to be bought and heard they cost around $50 plus,so expensive.There is also homework to be done,5 sketches of still life which anime,cartoons and manga are not allowed but still life real objects to be sketched.Will be sketching them later at night. -Slammed Guitar- (Comment on this)
